Digital Robot 500C is a fully automatic single-clamp perfect binder,which is specially designed for variabe binding production of up to 400 cycles/hour.It features on highly automated workflow, automatic thickness measurement,and exchangeable EVA gluing tank and PUR gluing tank( Option)
Furthermore , tha fast and accurate job changeover can be completed in as short as 5s for changing book thickness and 30s for changing book formats , which makes Digital Robot 500C an ideal post-press solution for short run and print-on-demand digital printing.
Automated Book Thickness Measurement:Book thickness is automatically measured by placing the book block into the pneumatic book clamp , which provides greater production efficiency for variable binding formats.
Easy Setup and High Automation:All setups can be done instantly according to the data input on the touch screen , which enables that even low-skilled operators can produce professional quality books.
Independent Cluing Stations:The independent spine gluing station and side gluing station ensures accurate glue application to the spine and two sides of the boo bloc for superior binding quality.
Optional PUR Gluing Station:Changeover between EVA AND PUR gluing application systems can be easily finished in just a few minutes.
Soft Book Lay-down System: The special designed soft boo lay-down system can maximally protect the just bound boo spine from any slight deformation.
